Shree Ram Naam Bank
Shree Ram Naam Bank originated from Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal
(Regd.) Sirsa. In other words we can say that Shree Ram Naam Bank originated
as the Branch of Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal which is now organized and run by
Shri Ram Sankirtan Charitable Trust, Sirsa.
The basic concept of Ram Naam Bank is that Everyone on this earth
should write the word RAM to get the Blessings of Almighty. It should be
written with red ink as Red colour denotes Love.
Ram Naam Bank is the bank of Ram Naam where a collection of the word
RAM on a particular format is deposited. This format consists of 2160 spaces
on a single sheet of paper. This means that the word RAM can be written 2160
times on a single sheet of paper.
The logic behind the number 2160 is that we breath 21600 times in 24
hours but it is not possible to say RAM with every breath so alternatively we
may write RAM 2160 times in a day which equals to 10 times of spoken word
RAM. This means that if we write RAM 2160 times in a day, it equals to 21600
times of spoken word RAM which means that we are saying RAM with every breath
that we take in a day.
These sheets pre written with the word RAM by the devotees are
collected by the bank from all branches and are then packed in to the card
board boxes.
These boxes are placed in a room and the pillar so formed is known
as the "Pillar of Ram Naams".
This pillar is covered with a Red cloth and the people who believe
in RAM take four rounds of this sacred Pillar of Ram Naams in order to get
their wish or desire fulfilled.
At present, this bank has around 80 crores of Ram Naams as deposits
and the number is expected to reach 100 crores landmark by the end of
December 2007 and 125 crores by end of March 2008.
Shree Ram Naam Bank at Sirsa started its operation in the year 2004
and reaching the hall mark of 80 crores with in this short span of time is an
achievement beyond imagination.

Outside India can write the word RAM in any language on this sheet. There is no age
or sex bar as RAM is for every one, any body can call Him & He will come to
