Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal
Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal is organized
& run by Shri Ram Sankirtan Charitable Trust, Sirsa.
It came in to existence around 17 years ago in the year 1990. It
just happened by chance when one fine day the Sanchalak of Shree Ram
Sankirtan Mandal Sh. Bhuwan Bhaskar Khemka heard the song of birth "Bhaya
Prakat Kirpala Din Dayala" from the episode of "Bal Kaand" in Ramayana
written by Sh. Tulsi Dass Ji.
From that day, Sh. Bhuwan Bhaskar Khemka started singing this song
daily continuously and he was so addicted to it that he could not sleep at
night without singing this song and it became the routine of his life there
after.
The day of establishment of Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal is taken to
be the day of Shree Krishna Janam Ashtami which is celebrated all over the
world.
Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal celebrates the following days every year
at very large scale :
1. Shree Ram Navami, the birth day of Shree Ram Jee.
2. Shree Krishan Janamashtami, the birth day of Shree Krishan
Jee.
3. Shree Radha Ashtami, the birth day of Shree Radha Jee.
4. Shree Hanumaan Jayanti, twice in the year after six
months.
5. Shiv Ratri Parv, twice in the year after six months.
Apart from these, every Saturday Night
from 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. is the festival for Shree Ram Sankirtan Mandal
when all the members of the mandal gather to do kirtan & worship Shree Ram
Jee. Punctuality of time is the main requirement for the members who come to
kirtan on this day.
At present, there are around 70 registered members of the mandal and
all are equal. There is no designation assigned to any member as President or
Secretary etc. There is no donation and monthly or yearly membership fee.
Though if some one voluntarily wish to spend on some work for the mandal, he
may do so accordingly.
It has been around 17 years of existence of Shree Ram
Sankirtan Mandal and by The Grace of Shree Ram Jee it is running very smoothly
without any disturbance so much and so that it is taking a shape of a
Trust now with its Own Website and an Unmatched Plan of launching the AYODHAYA
DHAAM Project very soon in Sirsa.
